Digitally illustrated by Chippewa Cree artist, Kaylene J. Big Knife, this artwork features a men's fancy dancer and a women's fancy dancer with contemporary Chippewa Cree floral designs and night sky. With the twists and turns of their dances, their fringes and regalia flash with the spotlights on them. This art piece was originally commissioned by Valene T.D. (Nakoda and Aaniiih) for a fancy dance special at the Milk River Indian Days in the summer of 2018.
